Berry Update 9th November 2017

Every year the berry season begins at a different time within a six week period, the earliest mid November, the latest being the end of December. This year the main berry season  looks beginning mid December.  Our strawberries are beginning to develop fruit so  depending on the weather over the next two weeks  should be available for picking from the beginning of December.

We will continue to post weekly news to alert you to when the berry season starts and send an email out to our customers on our emailing list.

Spring time at Sunny Creek Organic Berry Farm

Every day the berry canes and plants are bursting into life. New leaves and blossoms are quickly overtaking the farm, as Spring takes hold. The weather has been much kinder than last year and there has been some very heavy flowering, especially of the gooseberries and currants.

It is still too early to estimate when the seasonwill begin, as it depends upon what the weather is like for the next few weeks. Hopefullythe berry season will begin in mid November. We will keep you posted as to when the berries will be available.
